Firefly Night- POSTPONED UNTIL FRIDAY DUE TO RAIN

Pack a picnic and your flashlights for NATURE NIGHTS at
The Woodlands this summer!

Each month you’ll have a chance to spend some after-dark time inside the gates learning more about this important urban ecosystem and the creatures who call it home. Treat yourself to local snacks from neighborhood vendors, and take part in fun activities and crafts for all ages.

Firefly Night: Thursday, June 23rd from 6:00PM - 9:00PM

Friday, June 24th from 6:00PM - 9:00PM

Be inspired by the flight of fireflies as you watch an aerial performance by West Philly's own Tangle Movement Arts! Fancy feathers, crazy calls, and delightful dances make life pretty “colorful” for all kinds of animals during the quest to meet the perfect mate. Then get creative with University City Arts League to learn other ways that fireflies and other animals are cool, and make a craft you can take home!

This event is FREE and open to the public. Parking is limited, so please consider walking, biking, or taking public transportation.
