Biochar is a charcoal-like soil enhancer made by burning organic material. Compost Tea is a living liquid soil enhancer made by 'brewing' compost.  In this workshop we'll be going over the history, usage, properties and how they improve the life of garden and orchard soils. We'll have live demonstrations of making biochar and brewing compost tea and apply them directly at the POP Learning Orchard and POP's edible plant nursery.
