Join us for a workshop to learn about the basics of single sheet book structures often used in artists books and zines with teaching artist J Pascoe from The Soapbox. After covering the ins and outs of 10-12 different books, class participants will come together to make a collaborative zine based on the various (and exciting!) Philadelphian residents now interred at The Woodlands. Suffragettes, Painters, Inventors, and more! We will bring their stories to life with book arts and zine techniques -- everyone goes home with mock ups of the book structures learned in class and a copy of the final collaborative project!
Registration:
