Nature Night at The Woodlands

Pack a picnic and flashlight for a casual evening full of urban biodiversity at The Woodlands. Discover some of the mysteries of the urban wildlife that calls the cemtery home and learn ways to be a Citizen Scientist.
5:30PM - 6:00PM Story time with the The Walnut Street West Free Library will feature urban wildlife.
5:30PM - 7:30PM Explore the Philadelphia Orchard Project (POP) learning orchard located near Woodland Avenue.
5:30PM - 7:30PM Learn from our friends at Audubon and The Discovery Center.
6:00PM - 7:00PM Get up close to some flying friends with Raptor Jawns.
7:00PM - 8:00PM Join Bernard “Billy” Brown on a group walk to look for fireflies and bats around the Center Circle section of the cemetery.
There will be limited parking available, so consider walking or biking to Nature Night. Visit our website for more information about getting here.
