Bat Night and Moth Night are together for a double feature evening! Explore the mystery surrounding bats and learn all the ways moths are cool. Pack a picnic and bring your flashlights for the search for our resident moths with the Academy of Natural Sciences. They will be here to guide us through a night filled with the science of bats and moths.

The BAT WALK is back! We'll start at the Hamilton Mansion and walk as a group through the cemetery to the highest point in center circle, using a detector to look for bats along the way. Bats don't fly until it's dark out, so the Bat Walk will start after sundown! The bat walk will be led by Dr. Lisa Powers and Marianne Gagnon of the Sewall Lab at Temple University.

Lil' Pop Shop will be serving up the best of Summer in popsicle form throughout the evening.

This event is FREE and open to the public. Parking is limited, so please consider walking, biking, or taking public transportation.

In the event of inclement weather, Nature Night will be cancelled and notice will be posted on our website and social media pages at least 2 hours prior to the event start time.
