Volunteer at The Woodlands
with a crew or on your own schedule!
We’re taking the opportunity to give the grounds a much-needed winter spruce-up. Join us on Saturday, January 27th for a volunteer clean-up session, and read on for what you can do at The Woodlands to keep the grounds beautiful, whenever you may be visiting.
What we’ll be doing: Collecting fallen sticks and branches, picking up trash along Woodland Avenue, and doing other outdoor site clean-up chores as needed. Volunteers should plan to bend and lift throughout the day.
Where we’ll meet: The day will start at the Stable at 10AM.
What you’ll need: Not required, but feel free to bring your favorite pair of hand pruners if you have them. BYO work gloves and water.
What The Woodlands will provide: Larger tools, guidance, and a full to-do list.
Rather work on your own schedule? Here are jobs you can do on your own throughout the week:
Pick up trash and deposit it in our dumpster (located in the carriage shed, next to the stable)
Pick up sticks from throughout the cemetery and pile them along the roads.
Sign up to be a Volunteer and receive our Volunteer updates.
This event will be canceled in the event of inclement weather. We'll get in touch the day before with updates!
