Philly Queer Birders at The Woodlands

Wednesday, September 20th, 2023
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Who’s ready for fall birding!? Join the Philly Queer Birders for a weeknight outing at The Woodlands! This is one of PQB’s favorite spots and we’re excited to greet all of the migrants making their way south. We can expect to see plenty of songbirds and raptors, and we may start to see higher numbers of sparrows.

We plan to meet at the front gates and move at a slow pace on a paved path with gentle slopes in some areas. No registration is required and we’ll have plenty of binoculars to share. Bathrooms will be open during our walk and there is plenty of parking within the cemetery and on the surrounding streets in addition to public transit and bike parking. Hope to see y’all there!

No Registration Required
